Guarantees and Responsibilities
No Match Guarantees: SpeedDateBoston.com makes no guarantee that a match will occur during our events. We provide a platform for meeting others, but the outcome of any connection is not guaranteed.
No Future Meetings Guarantee: Even in the event of a mutual match, SpeedDateBoston.com does not guarantee any future meetings or contact between participants. Our responsibility ends the moment the event concludes, and any future interactions are solely Your responsibility.
Background Checks: SpeedDateBoston.com does not conduct background checks of any kind, including marital, criminal, professional, or educational checks, on our participants. If You wish to obtain such information, it is Your responsibility to conduct these checks at Your own expense.
Registered Sex Offenders: Registered sex offenders are not allowed to join our website. If we discover that You are a registered sex offender, we will cancel Your registration without a refund.
Cancellation Policy: To qualify for a refund, a cancellation must be made with at least 7 days' notice before the event. Cancellations within 7 days will receive a credit for a future event only.
Dress Code: You are expected to adhere to a "dress to impress" code for all events. It is a singles event, and common sense should be used when dressing to ensure an attractive appearance.
Attractiveness Guarantees: SpeedDateBoston.com makes no guarantees regarding the attractiveness of other participants. Personal preferences vary, and if You do not find someone attractive, it is not a reason for a refund.
Free Event Request: If You attend an event and do not select anyone as a match, You may request a free event within 5 business days. Attending the free event is required to participate in this offer, and no second free event will be provided.
Inappropriate Behavior: Any discussions or remarks of a sexual nature or any lewd behavior are strictly prohibited during our events. Violators will be removed from the event without a refund.
Refunds: The only circumstance under which a refund will be provided is if SpeedDateBoston.com permanently cancels an event. If an event is rescheduled to another date and time, You are expected to agree to the new schedule. If You cannot attend, a credit will be provided. Our maximum liability under any circumstance is limited to the fee paid for the ticket.
Not a Traditional Matchmaking Service: SpeedDateBoston.com is not a traditional matchmaking service. We organize events where participants meet others, but we do not conduct client interviews to determine likes or dislikes. Event outcomes are based on the chance of who signs up.
Hygiene: Hygiene is essential. You are expected to maintain good personal hygiene. Anyone with a strong odor may be asked to leave the event. Compliance with requests from our host or venue staff to leave is mandatory.
Complaints: If You have any complaints about our events, You must provide us with an opportunity to remedy the situation before posting any negative reviews. Failure to do so may result in a charge of $1000 for each review and $500 for each person who reads it.
Food and Beverage Policy
Food and drinks are not included in the ticket purchase and should not be expected as part of our events. You are required to purchase at least one drink during our events to support the venue hosting the event. This helps ensure that the venue will continue to welcome us for future events.
Contact List Agreement
By entering and submitting Your email and phone number on any page of our website and at any stage, You agree to join our contact list. You also agree to receive communications from SpeedDateBoston.com, including but not limited to receipts, event reminders, notifications, and promotional messages with promo codes.
Sharing of Contact Information
You agree to allow SpeedDateBoston.com to share Your contact information, including email and phone number, with Your mutual matches only.
Respectful Online Behavior
You agree not to engage in inappropriate or intrusive online behavior, such as stalking individuals on platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, or other websites, if You are not a mutual match. Respect for privacy and boundaries is paramount.
Compliance with Mutual Match Requests
You agree to promptly cease contact with a mutual match if the match requests that communication be stopped. Respect for the preferences of others is a fundamental principle of our service.
Opt-Out Options
You may opt out of our email communications by replying with the word "remove." To stop receiving text messages, You may also reply with the word "remove." Please allow at least 48 hours for us to process Your request. Failure to reply sooner does not constitute poor customer service and will not result in any form of refund. Additionally, You agree that no negative reviews will be written based on the response time to opt-out requests.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
By using SpeedDateBoston.com and attending our events, You acknowledge that You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and it is Your responsibility to review them periodically.
